Color blending through multiple exposure

Fall colors in Seattle Japanese Garden are one of atractive objects in October and November. I was attempting to obtain special effect by combining two images in one with in-camera multiple exposure. One image was taken with sharply focus, and other image was on purposely moving vertically on a monopod so that colors are blending yet there is a image where the eyes can rest.
